Chicago Bears EDGE Montez Sweat is fitting in just fine.
Sweat recorded his second and third sacks in a Bears uniform in the 12-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. He was around the ball on several other plays too. But he was not the only standout. After the game, he sent a message to another of the team?s stars.
?One of dem ones,? Sweat captioned a clip of Johnson?s interception of Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs on Instagram on November 27.

Bears? Jaylon Johnson Draws Praise From Montez Sweat
Jaylon Johnson Earns Bears? Highest Grade From Pro Football Focus in Week 12
The pick was Johnson?s third interception of the season. He entered the season ? and the final year of his rookie contract ? with one career interception and a slew of other positive numbers showcasing his prowess at the position. He already has snagged triple that amount in this season alone. And, for the second week in a row, he dropped what looked to be a sure-fire pick-6.
Johnson had fun with the near-miss after the game.
?Man, I don’t know what’s going on with my hands,? he said, per NBC Sports Chicago?s Josh Schrock. ?I used to think I had pretty good hands, but I got to figure something out. … I think I saw a little too much purple in the end zone instead of seeing that ball in my hands.”

Johnson still earned the highest grade of the week for either team on both sides of the ball with a 92.7. Sweat was third on the defense. Johnson’s 92.9 coverage grade was his highest mark of the season. Johnson?s 90.0 overall grade on defense this season is the highest of his career and the third-best among all cornerbacks.
Linebacker TJ Edwards finished second in overall defense and coverage grades. He too snagged a pass, intercepting Dobbs in the contest.
Safety Jaquan Brisker and nickelback Kyler Gordon were responsible for the other two of Dobbs? four picks on the night. Brisker had the fourth-best coverage grade on the team. But Gordon?s grade was the lowest on the team after he surrendered some chunk gains.
Another notable grade belongs to DeMarcus Walker.
Walker was relegated to a reserve role with Sweat?s arrival. But Walker has stepped up in light of that, posting his best and third-best grades over the last two weeks. He finished with the fourth-best overall grade on defense after stepping in for Yannick Ngakoue, logging three hits on the quarterback and a hurry.
The lowest marks on that side of the ball belonged to Gordon and rookie defensive tackle Gervon Dexter Sr. The latter had a questionable roughing-the-passer call.
Dexter, like Gordon, also seemed to flash his big-play potential plenty of times.

Bears OL Grades Out Well vs. Vikings in Week 12
Offensively, the Bears graded out encouragingly. DJ Moore ? whose game-breaking play set up Cairo Santos? winning field goal ? led the way on that side of the ball with an 82.2 grade, his third-best mark of the season.
Moore is currently sporting the highest grade of his career at 88.1. He is up to 1,003 yards on the season. It is his fourth time passing the 1,000-yard mark in his career. With six touchdowns already, he is on pace to shatter his previous highs ? 1,193 yards (2020) and seven touchdowns (2022) ? in both categories.
After Moore, three of the next four spots went to offensive linemen (in order) Braxton Jones, Teven Jenkins, and Nate Davis.
Cole Kmet finished fifth while Justin Fields was seventh after overcoming his errors.
On the other side, Lucas Patrick and Darnell Wright brought up the rear for the offensive line for the week. Darnell Mooney and Equanimeous St. Brown brought up the rear among the Bears? offensive skill position players.
Bears Sparking Changes for Other Teams
Following in a similar vein to the coaches who have been fired after losing to the Bears, the Vikings are set to explore Dobbs? role as a starter.

Dobbs has proven to be a quick study. He picked up the Vikings? offense enough in less than one week to win his first two starts. But turnovers have been a bugaboo with the quarterback entering the night having thrown just one interception but six fumbles in three games with Minnesota.
He finished with the third-lowest grade on the Vikings? offense.
