Bears Free Agency Tracker: Live Updates on Signings, Trades & More

Halas Hall, Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears and the rest of the NFL are set to unleash a flurry of transactions upon the newswire, and Clocker Sports is here with you through all of it.

Free agency begins in the NFL on Wednesday, March 11. But teams are allowed to negotiate with rival teams’ free agents at noon Eastern on March 9. The bulk of big-name deals have been rattled off during the tampering period in years past.

The Bears have already been active this offseason on several fronts.

Bears Free Agency: Keeping Track of Signings, Trades, & More

Bears Free Agency Signings

Neville Gallimore: 2-yr, $12M

Neville Gallimore, 29, was a third-round draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys. He has also played for the Los Angeles Rams and, most recently, the Indianapolis Colts. Gallimore has 147 total tackles and 7.5 sacks in his career, starting 26 of 83 games.

Coby Bryant: 3-yr, $40M

A fourth-round pick (No. 109 overall) of the Seattle Seahawks in 2022, safety Coby Bryant has started 26 of 32 games played over the past two seasons, helping win a Super Bowl in 2025. He will turn 27 on March 29.

Devin Bush: 3-yr, $30M

An undersized former first-round draft pick, Devin Bush Jr. is coming off a career year (127 tackles, 3 INTs, 2 TDs, 2.0 sacks) and turns 28 in July. He figures to at least compete for one starting spot after starting all 17 games for the Cleveland Browns in 2025 and 27 of 33 over the past two seasons.

Kalif Raymond: 1-year, $5.1M

Wide receiver and kick returner Khalif Raymond has multiple ties to the Bears coaching staff. A diminutive but speedy playmaker, the 31-year-old (32 in August) could fill a gadget role for the Bears, much like he has for the Detroit Lions, including under Chicago’s Ben Johnson.

Cam Lewis: 2-yr, $6M ($2.7M GTD)

The Bears add a versatile, if undersized, playmaker to the secondary, who can also help out on special teams in Cam Lewis. Lewis, a former undrafted free agent, has spent the past six seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

Kentavius Street: TBA

Kentavius Street was a fourth-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers, but has also played for the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, and, most recently, the Atlanta Falcons. Adds another body to a retooled interior defensive line with Gallimore.

Jedrick Wills: 1-yr, $1.2M

A right tackle in college, Jedrick Wills has occupied the blindside in the NFL as a former first-round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns. He sat out the 2025 season while recovering from a knee injury.

Re-Signings

Daniel Hardy: 2-yr, up to $6M

Daniel Hardy has been with the Bears since 2023. He has become a staple on special teams and is well-liked in the locker room. He also offers positional versatility, capable of playing as an edge rusher or standing up at SAM linebacker.

D’Marco Jackson: 2-yr, $7.5M (worth up to $10.5M)

D’Marco Jackson was a pleasant surprise amid a dire injury situation for the Bears last season. He performed well in place of the team’s starters and has previous ties to defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.

Case Keenum: 2-yr, $5.5M (worth up to $8 million)

Case Keenum returns after operating as the Bears’ third quarterback last season, which inevitably leads to questions about QB2 Tyson Bagent’s future with the organization after they openly entertained the idea of trading him.

Braxton Jones: 1-yr, $5M (worth up to $10M)

The Bears selected Braxton Jones in the fifth round in 2022, and he was the team’s starting left tackle coming into the 2025 season. Injuries and inconsistency led to a change, but Jones is back amid Ozzy Trapilo’s potentially season-long recovery from a knee injury.

Jaylon Jones: 1-yr, TBA

Jaylon Jones is back for another go-round with the Bears. Joined the team as an undrafted free agent in 2022, signed with the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent last offseason, and returned to Chicago off waivers during the 2025 campaign.

Trades

DJ Moore to Bills: Moore & 5th-round pick (No. 164) for BUF 2nd round pick (No. 60)

DJ Moore was vital to the Bears’ turnaround and success of the past season, but his final season left the writing on the wall about his future. Now, he gets a fresh start, and the Bears recoup some valuable draft capital.

Garrett Bradbury from Patriots: 2027 5th-round pick to NEP

Garrett Bradbury replaces Drew Dalman after the 2025 Pro Bowler announced his retirement. Bradbury has played for the Minnesota Vikings and helped the Patriots reach the Super Bowl this past season.

Cuts

Tremaine Edmunds: FA (Signed With Giants)

The Bears cut Tremaine Edmunds after granting permission for his camp to seek a trade, and both sides failed to find a partner. Edmunds spent three seasons with the Bears, and he was a leader in the locker room. Still under 30, Edmunds faced a potentially robust market in free agency.

UPDATE: Edmunds signed a three-year, $36 million contract with the New York Giants that includes $23.7 million guaranteed.
